tales of lightThe effect of sunlight when it reflects on incoming waves, creates displays of extraordinary beauty. These specular reflections differ from minute to minute. The angle, strength and altitude of the sun coupled with the movement of the water produce extremes in texture and contrast. The position and speed of the lens in the equation, ultimately deciding the surreality and luminance cast in the final images. I feel like a hunter at these moments dashing to my favourite coastal spots when I know the tide is right, on the prowl for perfect light.
